from 429 reviewsTrès bon appareil pour le Nissan qashqai, le support a été excellent pour m'aider dans l'installation de l'appareil.
Je recommande DASAITA pour la qualité de ses autoradios.
Impressive Screen: The screen of the device under review is noteworthy, likely boasting high resolution, vivid colors, and possibly a large display size. This would enhance the overall user experience, making visuals appear crisp and vibrant.
Quick Touch Response: The device exhibits rapid touch response, meaning that when you interact with the screen by tapping or swiping, the device reacts almost instantly. This attribute is crucial for smooth and efficient navigation through menus, apps, and other interface elements.
On-Screen Information Display: When adjusting settings such as the air conditioning temperature or other functions, the screen provides real-time feedback by displaying relevant information. This feature enhances user convenience and ensures that users are aware of the changes they are making without having to rely solely on physical controls or indicators.
Split Screen Feature: The device offers a split-screen feature, allowing users to view multiple applications or functions simultaneously. However, it seems that there is a limitation related to the split-screen functionality, specifically concerning the display of maps. The review suggests that an update is needed to enable a full view of maps when using the split-screen mode. This indicates that while the feature exists, there may be room for improvement in terms of its functionality and compatibility with certain applications.
Entertainment Options: One of the standout features highlighted in the review is the ability to watch YouTube and Netflix on the device. This suggests that the device supports multimedia playback, possibly through built-in apps or compatibility with third-party services. The inclusion of entertainment options adds versatility to the device, allowing users to enjoy video content during their commute or while parked.
Overall, the review paints a positive picture of the device, emphasizing its impressive screen quality, responsive touch interface, on-screen information display, multitasking capabilities through split-screen mode, and entertainment features. However, it also acknowledges a specific area for improvement related to the split-screen functionality with maps, indicating that there may be some room for enhancement in future updates.
I have an Rogue SL 2017 with Bose radio.
Everything worked well though you have to figure out how to place all the cables.
I was able to place my secondary USBs and SIM card receiver in the glove box through a precut little box the glove box has.
The SL Bose radio requires to use an extra plug included with the radio. Be sure to use it to avoid radio hissing.
The radio antenna and GPS antenna from the car connect directly to the radio.
To avoid discrepancy between the radio and Bluetooth/Android Auto volumes, you need to go to the advance setting, decrease radio volume.
I really enjoy this head unit 8gb ram, with android operating system anything is possible the interface is snappy and come with all the featured you need for auto . Would buy again worth the price .
Dear Dasaita
I purchased the Android 12 head unit for honda hrv a month ago for my 2016 EU hrv. The install was quit easy and intuitive. My thoughts on the unit:
It would be nice to use the OEM microphone and GPS antenna but the extra ones (which comes with the unit) work just fine.
I lost the functionality of some of the steering wheel controls. Not the important ones (volume, next, previous, source works fine). I search in various fora and find out that is a common problem without an easy fix.
The good ones now.
The Dasaita HU is a HUGE upgrade to the OEM one. The responsiveness, the brightness, the colors are in another level. The versatility the HU provides is also huge. (I can install any software I like and connect many extra devices). And last the quality and the fitment is also very good.
It is a great purchase!
With regards

This is an awesome add-on to the Daisata head unit and allows for a better microphone to be added. I now have a microphone in the original factory location that works flawlessly.
Best HU for Sienna 2014 !
I love the G12 version :)
Pues ya instalada y es una maravilla, quizás algún problema de no poder coger dab no se como se configura
Great unit, easy to install.
Easy to install. Great upgrade to My car from the oem radio. I have noticed a increase in sound quality.
A lot of companies make aftermarket head units but dasainti is the best by far. Very good customer service, i ordered the wrong head unit and they sent me the correct harness for free, they will try their best to answer any questions about wiring, their head unit comes with really good packaging, with manuals for everything. Also the head unit just looks very nice once installed. There are cheaper aftermarket head units that in theory do the same thing but you get what you pay for. I’ve ordered aftermarket head units from Amazon and they would be missing parts such as GOS antennas, the usb cords, canbuses, etc. with dasainti you will get everything you need to install your head unit
HA5801-G12 installed in my 2021 RAV4 Hybrid without too many issues. I had to swap the CANBUS modules (was supplied with both RP2-TY-001 and RP5-TY-001) around to find the correct match for my car. Correct one (RP2) restored all of the steering wheel controls. External DAB+ module installed and was able, with a modified cable) to use the factory installed DAB aerial. Reversing camera needed a few tests of the settings to get it switch on when going into reverse gear. A firmware and MCU update was applied to enable the 4G SIM option (on the advice of the support team)
Unit was easily fitted into dashboard and looks part of the whole console. My questions to support were answered promptly and helped to resolve the issues I came across.
I've had extensive experience with several Android head units. This one has been the best "out of the box" experience so far.InstallationInstallation in my 2022 JT was very straightforward. All necessary harnesses to retain factory USB ports (dash and console) were included. The retention harness for the factory backup camera worked. The most challenging part of the installation was getting the canbus box, camera retention adapter and all wiring crammed behind the dash. There’s very little room back there on the JL/JT. I stuck the 4G and GPS antenna on top of the head unit itself. This works fine and GPS signal is excellent. I opted not to run the external microphone. The internal mic seems to be of decent enough quality. I’ve been told it sounds similar to the factory UConnect mic.Sound QualityI have the base non-Alpine system in my JT. Sound quality seems a bit better with the Dasaita head unit, but it’s hard for me to judge here due to the limitations of the factory speakers.UsabilityBoot Time - Cold boot up time is just over 30 seconds (see video). After the initial boot up the unit sleeps and only fully powers off if it detects the car battery is low. This cuts down the boot up time to just a second or two. This behavior is customizable. You can set it to shut off immediately, after 1 hour, etc.Launcher/interface – The default interface is okay. The home screen has widgets for Navigation, Music and Radio. If you change the default navigation app the Navi widget takes you to the correct app. The other two (Music/Radio) don’t appear to be customizable. I also don’t think you can remove them from the home screen although I haven’t dug into the settings. Swiping left from the home screen takes you through a list of installed Android apps. The unit comes bundled with some common ones – Netflix, Hulu, Google Maps and more. The latest versions of these apps from the Play Store work fine on this device. GaiaGPS also works. I will probably swap over to Dasaita’s Vivid launcher when it’s available for the G12 or possibly an alternative like Agama or Car Launcher Pro.Vehicle integration – Vehicle settings (at least those that apply to my truck) previously in Uconnect are available in the Car Settings app. There’s a popup with climate information that appears briefly as you use the physical buttons in the stock HVAC controls (see photo). There’s also an “AC” app that will control HVAC, heated steering wheel and heated seats (if equipped). It does have buttons for features your truck may not have. That’s not a big deal to me, but some users may find that annoying. The stock volume and tune knobs in the factory HVAC controls still work. I understand why Dasaita included knobs on the unit. Those replacing the 5” Uconnect radio would not have physical volume/tune knobs available otherwise. The rest of us just end up with two sets of knobs that do the same thing. I do not know if the vehicle integration supports setting options for the factory AUX switches since my truck does not have those. I did not see anything related to them in the options.Android Auto – This works fine. It seems to connect almost immediately 90% of the time. On occasion I’ve noticed it can take ~30 seconds or so to connect wirelessly.Apple Carplay – Not tested.4G LTE Connectivity – Works great with a T-Mobile sim. 4G speeds aren’t great in my area. It works about as well as anything.Bluetooth devices - Phone works, obviously. I have not yet tried any other Bluetooth accessories. I expect the Bluetooth is locked down to only work with a few OBD readers and such. Most of these Android head units don't offer full Bluetooth functionality for accessories. If I'm wrong about this one, I'll provide an update here.Issues- After first installing the unit the backup camera worked, but the image would “glitch” every 10-15 seconds. That issue seems to have fixed itself. Why? I don’t know. I will continue to monitor and update the review if it’s a problem again.- Home screen widget would not display the date when the date format was set to MM/DD/YYYY. Corrected that with a firmware update from Dasaita.Annoyances- Every other Android head unit I’ve owned has had a reboot/restart option in the pull-down menu. This one does not. In the event it does misbehave there’s no easy way to force a reboot other than accessing the factory settings and clicking “apply” to prompt a reboot. That should be easily corrected with a software update. These are very minor complaints considering the power and flexibility an Android head unit gives you.Overall, I feel like Dasaita has a winner with the G12.
