Purchased a G13 unit for a Toyota 4runner. I have been working on getting it all setup and customized. Is it possible to request two feature integrations into the Dasaita unit on the firmware level.
1. Ability to change the defualt radio app.
The Radio button and associated functions can't be mapped to a third party app. With a different radio app installed the system switches back and forth sometimes and can't settle on which app to use. The is no reason for the default app once a third party app is installed. Specifically looking at the app NavRadio+
2. Ability to recgonize an iPhone as a USB device.
Older car stereos are able to recgonize an iPhone as a USB device to play music. It treats the iPhone as if it is an iPod and can display album art, song info, etc at a high quality and stable connection. Additionally it has the ability to charge and play simultaneously. I don't always need CarPlay and its associated features when simply trying to play music. At the very least, allow CarPlay to recgonize a USB connection.
