Hi everyone,
I need some help with my new Dasaita head unit (Qualcomm 665, G13 OS, 6G+64G) installed in a Hyundai Santa Fe DM (Right Hand Drive) with a premium factory Infinity sound system (factory amplifier).
The head unit boots up perfectly, and the CAN-Bus decoder is working partially – it reads car data like air conditioning, battery status, and open doors. However, there is absolute silence in the speakers. The factory Infinity amplifier just won't wake up.
I have spent over 5 hours troubleshooting this, and I am pretty sure I received the wrong universal wiring harness meant for the base audio system. Here is what I found:
Extra loose connector: There is an extra white plastic plug on the car side that is left completely loose because there is no matching connector on the Dasaita harness.
Missing pins in CB009: The main CB009 connector is missing at least 2 critical pins needed to pass the amplifier triggering signal from the car to the radio.
CanBus config loop: In the Factory Settings, I am locked into the 15 HYUNDAI&KIA(Simple) profile. Changing the "Type" (0, 1, 2 Sorento Air, 3, etc.) forces a reboot, but never activates the Amplifier function or audio output.
Has anyone faced this issue with the Infinity amp on this specific platform? Do I just need a different "High Version" wiring harness/canbus box, or is there a way to repin the CB009 to get the amplifier remote signal working?
I am attaching photos of the box label, the wiring mess with the loose connector, and my CanBus settings screen. Any help or pinout advice would be greatly appreciated!
