I recently installed a Dasaita G13 head unit in my Toyota Camry 2023 Hybrid (Japan-spec WS model).Canbus Simplesoft
The installation was successful and most functions are working properly. However, I have noticed that some vehicle integration features that previously worked with my aftermaket KingRadio head unit and Raise CANBUS decoder . And now are no longer available.
With the previous setup, the steering wheel buttons (Up, Down, and OK) allowed me to navigate and change the audio source displayed on the factory instrument cluster (USB, Bluetooth Audio, FM, AM, etc.). The factory dashboard display correctly showed the selected media source.
Additionally, when making or receiving Bluetooth phone calls, call information was displayed on the factory instrument cluster/dashboard screen.
Since installing the Dasaita G13, these functions have stopped working. The steering wheel buttons still operate basic head unit functions, but they no longer control the source selection menu on the factory dashboard display, and Bluetooth call information is no longer shown on the instrument cluster.
