@Ryan Williams Based on past experience with the PX6 units, Bluetooth is crippled. No devices except phone or some of the generic OBD devices. Really not great.
@Adam Rosenthal For me, phone line from T-Mobile. Calls, data and SMS all work. Activated in an old iPhone before putting SIM in the G12.
I activated my SIM in another device first and moved it over to the G12 (T-Mobile). It's been working great that way for weeks. Is that an option for you?

You likely connected the camera output to the wrong input when installing. There are a couple of camera inputs (yellow RCA connectors). Easy to mix them up.
