Nice upgrade from OEM. Uses OEM 360 cameras. Keeps same picture. Screen is high resolution, no jagged pixels, nice and smooth, very bright and deep color in daylight. Easy to use. The OEM vent cover looks great, is high quality and is pretty seemsless. The YT reviews that flag the knob. It’s rather solid and just like if not better than the OEM dial. No dash lights after installed either.
Oh and the customer service is actually above and beyond, in my experience. Shout out to Serena!
Highly recommend this head unit if looking to upgrade.
Superb unit
Very happy with this head unit. Looks sleek in the 3rd gen Tacoma and keeps factory features like Android Auto / Carplay and the 360 camera, along side other new features and audio settings. My only dislikes is that the screen brightness at night is still too bright. I've added the extra dim widget to the task bar so I can manually do it but I wish the screen was able to go darker by default. My second dislike is that Android Auto still carries the large icons and font from the factory screen. It would be nice if the DPI was adjusted for the larger screen so I could have access to the "hazard" button on maps. Overall this is by far the best looking head unit for the 3rd gen Taco (in my opinion). I will highly recommend it to other users, but I'd like to see some improvements.
Very good product
I got the 11.6 inch screen for my GEN three Tacoma and it wasSuper easy to install very nice instruction manual and really good service from Adam made the installation fun and quick did not struggle at all
