This was not easy install on the fj with cameras. It took a while to do the install in a professional manner, but I love the head unit and cameras. It takes a while to get a good grasp on all the workings of the unit, but again...love it. I have connected with hot spot, bluetooth, and sim...all work well. It does take a while to stop the auto switching when you least expect it. But it is there. There is a lot to learn with this unit, so, play around with it and find what works best for you. If you only use car play or android auto, it will be pretty simple. I did choose to install AGAMA launcher more functionality when not using android auto. Love it.

I wanted a radio that fits Toyota’s 200mm wide double din form factor in my 2002 Highlander Limited - Dasaita is the only head unit with the right size, more modern hardware, and most importantly, a volume control knob.

I’ve tended to avoid Chinese Android head units, so this was my first one, because nothing else met my requirements. The screen is gorgeous and high-res - looks better than a Kenwood I have in another car. Software is straight forward and I haven’t encountered any issues yet. I use it solely for CarPlay and it reliably connects.

I did run into some issues with the factory JBL amplifier - there’s white noise that won’t go away, but it’s not because of the radio, but an issue with the factory amp itself. Dasaita support was very helpful and responsive.

I recommend bypassing the factory amp or installing an aftermarket amp if your Toyota has an external factory amp, because the white noise is a known Toyota issue.
