Will my factory JBL sound system still work?

Compatible JBL amplifier integration is supported with the correct harness and CANBUS setup.

Can I keep my factory backup camera and 360° view?

Yes. HA2179 supports compatible factory backup cameras and factory 360° surround-view systems. Use the correct camera connections and CANBUS settings for your vehicle.

Will I lose my steering-wheel audio controls?

Supported factory steering-wheel audio buttons are retained with the correct CANBUS setup. Available button functions depend on your configuration, and the unit’s physical knobs and shortcut buttons provide additional controls.

Does it use the factory microphone?

No. The G13 includes an external microphone for calls and voice functions.

Will wireless CarPlay and Android Auto reconnect automatically?

Love it! (After the update)

So I initially left a 3 star review, because I was having problems with the backup camera crashing, and Car Play taking foooooooreeeeeeeever to load. Well, Dasaita support contacted me shortly after my review and asked me to figure out the software version - I did, and they responded with an upgraded version that not only fixed up the camera app crashing, but fixed the Car Play so that it loads SO quickly now. Love it. Over all a fantastic purchase and I'm glad I did it.

Great product and support!

Ive had mine since August of 2022 and for the most part haven't had any issues. It added much needed features on my 2017 4Runner. I reached out to Dasaita recently for support as I have never updated the firmware on the head unit and was having issues connecting my new phone to android auto. They responded within a couple of days and helped me through the update process which was very easy. New update alowed my phone to connect to android auto with no issues and the update brought some other much needed features like Google maps on the main screen. Highly recommend Dasaita.

Dasaita G13 = Exceptional Product with Exceptional Personnel

I purchased a Dasaita G13 Head Unit for my 2019 Toyota 4Runner and I am very pleased with the purchase. I took advantage of a Black Friday sale and the purchase was worth every penny and then some. I contacted Dasaita's US support line and spoke with Nick regarding my purchase and asked some information about the install. Nick recommended I view some of the ambassador videos of them doing the install instead of taking it to Best Buy, and I am very thankful I did because I can see how Best Buy might not have given the install the necessary attention needed for a customized personal install as I was able to do after watching the videos. Install was fairly quick and certainly easy. It is truly a plug and play unit and the unit I received was even easier to install than the videos I watched. Once installed, the unit booted right up without any issue. All of my factory features that I wanted to ensure were kept were intact (steering wheel controls, A/C unit, backup camera [the unit even added the curved steering wheel direction indicator lines as well], sound system [except my JBL subwoofer, but after contacting Dasaita support, Mia sent me an update file for the unit and got my JBL subwoofer working as well], and all the other factory features also. The Dasaita G13 unit is exceptional and is a major upgrade to my vehicle! It has seamless Android Auto wireless connection as well as the ability to connect to my mobile hotspot of internet [think all of the apps you want to stream videos and live TV from]. The support team is very responsive and works with you until your issues are resolved. This unit is far beyond even what 2025 and 2026 vehicles have for their head units, including even luxury brands! You can't go wrong with purchasing a Dasaita head unit for your vehicle, you won't be disappointed.
