Overall this has been a great upgrade for me. I primarily purchased it to add Apple CarPlay to my 2019 4Runner. I have not used very many functions other than CarPlay so I can’t speak to all of its features. The screen is clear and responsive. Audio definitely changed but I’m not an audiophile so I can’t tell if it was for the better or for the worse. One gripe I have is with fit/finish. The driver’s side AC Knob trim piece is basically impossible to get flush like it was prior to install… not a huge deal just something I notice. The top of the unit also pops out from the dash and has to constantly be snapped back into place. Overall though the unit looks great and functions the way I expected it to. I’ve had the unit installed for a little over a month with 0 issues from the actual unit itself aside from fitment. Install was a breeze.
I had no idea what I was doing. I just got on YouTube, so how it was done and just follow the instructions… Piece of cake
Purchased a head unit for my 2018 4runner and has perform3d flawlessly. Recently my Bluetooth connectivity was intermittent. Dasaita customer service was very responsive and exchanged daily emails until they solved my issue by providing a needed update with clear installation instructions. Very satisfied
I dont see how anyone gave this less than 5 stars. The install was easy and fit is perfect. This elevated my lame 2018 system to well beyond 2025.
I like the replacement unit a lot, wasn't too hard to install and the customer support is very good if you need anything, They worked with me for weeks to install an update I was having trouble with!
