The unit arrived very quickly (China to Phoenix in two days). The installation was fairly straightforward. However, I have three issues:
1) the backup camera will not trigger a response. I’ve confirmed that my camera works when connected to 12V power and the AV-in and Front Camera Inputs. I’ve confirmed that my splice of the reverse light power and ground are correct.
2) the unit doesn’t recognize my OEM microphone. The microphone built into the unit makes me sound like I’m in a tunnel. I plan to install the included external microphone.
3) this morning, when I hit a slight pothole, the touch screen glass popped off of the bezel and is hanging from the ribbon cable. I hope to reaffix the glass through use of some sort of adhesive.

A few minor quirks I need to figure out but all in all a big time upgrade compared to the dated alpine unit I had before. Install is manageable if you have any inclination. The CAN bus harness is needed if you have JBL system. Buy it separately is what I had to do

2008 Sequoia LimitedJBL, Navigatiom & Backup Cam.The OEM backup cam is poor quality on this big screen, since the OEM screen was smaller.This kit included everything to complete the install. It took a lot of work to program the backup cam. A little but of work for the steering wheel controls.Overall exremely happy. Great bang for the buck. Fairly reliable. No issues. Wireless Carplay doesnt switch from my phone to the wifes phone. But we are both in love.

Ok when i read reviews on this i saw a lot of you not having steering wheel controls. I had to do a lot of playing with the stereo because the instructions were trash. You have to go into the settings and find the steering wheel controls option. You will have to click on your steering wheel button and then choose what control it is for EACH control. So essentially youll have to program the stereo a bit. Make sure you save your controls at the end of programming each control and boom! Steering wheel controls!Anyway, this is the best upgrade Ive done to my truck i far. Sometimes CarPlay doesnt connect but a quick reset usually cures that problem. This is a great way to upgrade your stereo.

Seems like a good product but the wiring harness did not work for 2013 Toyota Sequoia Platinum. The JBL system needs the digital module which was included on one wiring harness. Another wiring harness was provided that matched the vehicle better but did not have the digital module. Maybe the two harnesses should be combined somehow but there are no instructions.Update: Dasaita reached out to me and determined that I need a wiring harness that is not included with the product. They have offered to provide the harness free of charge. I give them five stars for customer service. I've updated the feedback rating and headline.
