Apple CarPlay music (sound) cuts off when reversing.


  • I have a 2017 Camry and I just installed a VIVID 11 headunit. 

    after going through ALL the settings I cannot figure out how to fix the issue where the sound cuts off when reversing. This only happens when using Apple CarPlay. 
    The sound on the stock headunit is retained when reversing. 

    I have enabled "reverse volume > on" on extra settings. 

    I have gone through the factory settings. 

    nothing seems to work. 
    I have a MAX 10 for another car of mine and I don't have this issue. It works great!
