Hello I really need help with my g13. I got my head unit and I installed it on my 2017 camry. It runs good few things here and they are not fixable but my main issue is the microphone. Whenever I'm on the phone the other side always says they either can't hear me or usually they hear themselves or that I sound like I'm in a tunnel. I did a test where I called another family member and I tapped on both internal and external microphones and for some reason they both are taking in audio. I tried buying a different external one but the same problem still remained. There is no option to select only external or whatever. I tried taking apart my entire stereo and disconnecting the external to only use the internal but the same problem still persisted. I checked all over the internet and no one has a fix. If I can't resolve this I'm probably going to return my head unit but does anyone have a fix?? The only time I "sound good" is when I'm parked and not driving. I emailed the company but they're not responding

@Michael Pulver yes they have. They sent me an update and it didn't do anything. I returned it and got another unit and it has the same issue. It's a simple option to add to only use the external microphone but for some reason they can't do that idk y. I was told to wait for an update or something

W moim starym radiu tego producenta problemem był wtyk mikrofonu który nie zwierał odpowiednich pinów w gnieździe mikrofonu i nie przełączał mikrofonu wewnętrznego na zewnętrzny. Trzeba zrobić zworę na płycie radia lub kupić wtyk z najdłuższym polem masy.
Test microphones with a sound recording app. In my old radio from this manufacturer, the problem was the microphone plug which did not connect the appropriate pins in the microphone socket and did not switch the internal to external microphone. You need to make a jumper on the radio board or buy a plug with the longest ground field.

I have the same problem with the G13. My interlocutor hears his voice coming back. It definitely takes the sound from the external microphone and the internal microphone. I saw that in the G12 there is the possibility to deactivate the internal microphone from the menu, which in the G13 this function does not exist. It is a big problem not to have good telephone conversations.
