  @John Donnelly I recommend you to reapply the update, but ENSURE the erase checkbox is enabled in order to discard any software issue. It seems to me that some overheating of the CPU is happening....

  @Cristiano Casu  i am assuming that you are trying it wirelessly. Your unit (or at least your zlink version) does not allow Android Auto wireless.
