TPMS system installation TAIYA05

  • Dear Dasaita, my PX6 MAX10 Android 10 unit has an old Dasaita-supplied TPMS system installed, and I have now purchased the new TAIYA05 version with internal sensors. Since the sensors started to fail, is it possible to install the new USB module to the wiring of the old system? Is there any additional configuration required for proper operation? Thank you.

  • @José Guillermo Huertas Lancheros Hi ,the TAIYA05 can't not compatible with the PX6 MAX10 Android 10

  • Gentlemen at Dasaita, you don't solve problems; on the contrary, you create more confusion. I explained my problem with the TPMS system via email, as you had concluded that the sensors were faulty.  I then inquired about replacement parts, and you replied that the TPMS system is obsolete and that the solution is to purchase the updated TPMS. If my TPMS system is obsolete, then my main unit is also obsolete, yet Dasaita initially suggested I buy the TAIYA05 TPMS, and now they tell me it's not compatible with my PX6 MAX10 Android 10 unit—after I've already purchased it! I've attached the emails that confirm everything I've stated above.

    Hello.

As our head unit continues to be updated and iterated, accessory products also need to be updated accordingly to ensure compatibility.
Due to market demand and technological updates, our company has decided to discontinue the old version products.
    Hope you can kindly understand.

Based on your order details, we would like to remind you that your order is well beyond the valid warranty.
The TPMS item you purchased has been discontinued for several years, and we can confirm that we no longer have any inventory available for replacement.
If you are considering getting the new version product, please feel free to contact us or simply place an order via the link that we sent you earlier.

    Best regards,
    Dasaita Official Team

    Hello.
    Thanks for your message.

Upon checking, it most likely is the TPMS sensors are damaged.
Since the old version TPMS accessories have been discontinued, if needed, we suggest that you can consider getting the new one.

  • I invested in the Dasaita TAIYA 05 TPMS system, and I didn't want to lose it. So I did some research, and yes, the TAIYA 05 does work with my Dasaita PX6 MAX10 Android 10 head unit. I just need to make a few adjustments.
    1. The TPMS USB drive doesn't come in a compatible format for our head unit to read, so it needs to be converted from FA16 to exFAT. Before doing this, copy the files on the USB drive to a folder on your computer so that once the USB drive is formatted, they can be pasted back onto the USB drive.
    2. Once the USB drive is formatted in exFAT mode, the corresponding files were immediately recognized by my Dasaita head unit. I ran the installer, and the TPMS APK installed correctly.
    3. Once the TPMS APK was installed, I put the USB drive into TPMS mode (sliding the button to TPMS), with the internal sensors uninstalled, and in the ID Mode interface, the pairing process began, and the result was successful. The test indicated that they don't necessarily need to be installed to be recognized.

I hope this contribution will help future buyers of the TAIYA 05 TPMS system.
