I recently installed a Dasaita head unit in my 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer equipped with the factory Rockford Fosgate sound system. I am using the required CANBUS adapter provided with the unit.
The system works fine on the initial boot, but I am facing a major issue when restarting the engine.
The Problem:
If the head unit is already running (e.g., when the key is in the ACC position) and I turn the key to start the engine, the unit stays on, but all sound completely disappears.
Instead of music, there is a strange cyclical noise coming from the speakers—it sounds like someone is softly "blowing" or popping into each speaker one by one in a loop.
The only way to get the audio back is to completely turn off the ignition, wait for the system to shut down fully, and start the car again. It seems like the Rockford amplifier fails to initialize properly due to the voltage drop during crank, or the CANBUS adapter fails to send the correct "turn-on" signal after the restart.
Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a known fix, a specific MCU/firmware update, or a setting in the Factory Menu that solves this?
