Issue: recently installed, sound works in the morning and does not work in the evening. From reading the boards this is related to parking in a garage where am ient temp is 91 degrees. Sound works again after about 30 minutes of having AC on. Believe this is MCU error that incorrectly reads temps and shuts off amplifier ? Appears an MCU update is needed? Works fine otherwise just no sound intermittently based on temperature.
Have reinstalled the factory stereo to verify it is not a truck hardware issue. It isn't. Have checked connections on diasata, they are secure and work well, except after being parked while at work while in the shade in a parking garage with ambient temps at 91 degrees Farrenhiet.
