My teen was really happy to upgrade the size of the screen in his Corolla IM and add wireless CarPlay functionality. Also retaining the backup camera and wheel controls was very handy as well. There are some quirks with the unit but overall we are very happy customers! Any confusion was quickly handled by customer service. This was a way cheaper and better route than the local car stereo place could offer.

There are few good things I have to say about this unit. 1. It looks fantastic compared to the factory unit. 2. The sound quality is incredible for otherwise being a stock system. That’s where it ends. Screen freezes, volume freezes, volume changes on its own, sound cuts out frequently as if I’m getting a notification, reset button doesn’t work, resetting fixes one problem and creates another, music skips like an old CD player, CarPlay won’t connect, apps constantly freeze and kick me out. While these aren’t super expensive for the features, I’ve come to realize none of it matters. I wanted something that was not only an update of sound quality, but for my interior. This is the only place it delivers. It’s been a royal headache, and I’m honestly at this point willing to accept a $400 loss, and throw it right in the garbage. I’m not one to write a review, but this is completely unacceptable when spending this kind of money. There is next to nothing online to troubleshoot my problems, and updates don’t seem to fix anything either. Since the screen always freezes, and the reset button doesn’t work I’m often left without being able to use it at all. Save your money. So glad I didn’t sell the stock unit.

Easy installation in my 2017 Tacoma. All steering wheel controls and back up camera work like they should. Had a small issue with a "ticking" noise being present for one day, but it hasn't happened again. Android auto connects wirelessly or wired. Only complaint is the new mic included for handsfree calling has really bad clarity.

Easy install. Plug and play. Get Android Auto and Apple Car Play for your Corolla. Clean sound. Documentation sucks, but it is plug and play.
