This part allows the use of any microphone with a 3.5mm TRS plug, i happen to use a shotgun mic on my G12 and it works great! I really feel like this should be included with all top tier head units.

I have an Rogue SL 2017 with Bose radio.
Everything worked well though you have to figure out how to place all the cables.
I was able to place my secondary USBs and SIM card receiver in the glove box through a precut little box the glove box has.
The SL Bose radio requires to use an extra plug included with the radio. Be sure to use it to avoid radio hissing.
The radio antenna and GPS antenna from the car connect directly to the radio.
To avoid discrepancy between the radio and Bluetooth/Android Auto volumes, you need to go to the advance setting, decrease radio volume.

I really enjoy this head unit 8gb ram, with android operating system anything is possible the interface is snappy and come with all the featured you need for auto . Would buy again worth the price .

I purchased the Android 12 head unit for honda hrv a month ago for my 2016 EU hrv. The install was quit easy and intuitive. My thoughts on the unit:
It would be nice to use the OEM microphone and GPS antenna but the extra ones (which comes with the unit) work just fine.
I lost the functionality of some of the steering wheel controls. Not the important ones (volume, next, previous, source works fine). I search in various fora and find out that is a common problem without an easy fix.
The good ones now.
The Dasaita HU is a HUGE upgrade to the OEM one. The responsiveness, the brightness, the colors are in another level. The versatility the HU provides is also huge. (I can install any software I like and connect many extra devices). And last the quality and the fitment is also very good.
It is a great purchase!

This is an awesome add-on to the Daisata head unit and allows for a better microphone to be added. I now have a microphone in the original factory location that works flawlessly.
