I had searched for and even asked the Toyota dealer for after market upgrade units that would add CarPlay to our 2019 Toyota C-HR and was told it wasn't possible with out losing functionality of existing controls such as back up camera and steering wheel controls. However, after reading a comment on Reddit in response to a similar question I found this unit by Dasita. I sent them a question including the cars serial number and a photo of the existing unit. They replied almost immediately to confirm the correct unit to order for my car. It took almost a month to arrive but was worth the wait. I had it professionally installed and was thrilled with the results. All existing functionality was retained and more. The new display is amazing, all controls are clear and easy to use PLUS all the instructions and user manuals are in English which was quite a surprise. I finally have CarPlay and the whole unit, controls, features, and functionality is a vast improvement over the original Toyota product. I'm quite pleased and strongly recommend Dasita to any with similar needs!
