The device can automatically switch between day mode and night mode based on the time setup.

During the night, the screen will switch to night mode to prevent any discomfort or distraction caused by excessive brightness while driving.
Additionally, users have the freedom to manually adjust the screen brightness according to their preferences.
By implementing these optimizations, we aim to provide a more intelligent and personalized user experience, ensuring optimal visibility and comfort in various environments.
Settings path: Go to Settings > Car > Extra Settings > Brightness mode
Are there any planned updates to further refine the screen brightness? The unit in my 2018 Tundra is SUPER Bright all of the time. Even with the unit is the darkest settings at night it is WAY too bright.
@Nick O We are wondering if you could try to replace the wall paper to a black one which make help improve.
@Support Dasaita I have tested with the Black and the standard White theme/background. I will continue to mess with the settings are there are a couple of different locations which control the screen brightness.
Hello Support- A few question noted below.
- How do I access the blacked themed wallpaper?
- Can replace the main screen widgets ( NAV, Radio, Music) with something fitting?
- Can I program one of the lower touch buttons for camera access?
- How do I change the fonts for the time located top right of screen?

1. long press the blank area to enter the wallpaper settings page.
2.Do you mean changing the large widget, if so, we are sorry to tell you that it could not be change but you could move them?
3.Please kindly let us know which kind of camera, the dash camera? Normally, rear view will appear when you reverse and the whole screen shows the rear view.
4. Long press the search bar on the top to enter time format, choose the format and time display you like.

3. Figured out that I can select which apps can exist on the left side taskbar. This is for front and rear oem cameras.
4. Tryied that and didn't see anything showing font option for time, I did see the time region settings,etc. Anyway to remove the date and time banner instead?

This seems incorrect. It switches based on my headlights. When I turn headlights on, the unit switches to night mode.
Unfortunately, for safety I always turn on my headlights, also during the day. But the screen in night mode during the day is unreadable.
Can you please change this functionality to use sunrise/sunset (as my phone does) rather than headlight? And for Zlink (Android Auto) to follow the same.

@K D Because the headlight must be turned on during night so we call it night mode. Fewer people will turn on head light during days.
We will update the post in case there is any misunderstandings.
