I just installed latest Scout update but this issue was present also before.
Without setting a destination, google maps shown in left panel is oriented with north pointing to up.
Even clicking the target icon/compass icon the maps does not switch orientation to "direction oriented" mode.
It just render a "side view" instead of bird view.
@Mcgyver83 Could you shot a video to demonstrate the issue so that we could send to Telenavi to check it?
@Mcgyver83 This seems to be an issue with Google Maps itself, which we cannot control. I checked, and in non-navigation mode, clicking the compass/center icon indeed only switches between 2D North Up and 3D North Up views. It does not show a heading up state; the car's heading is only displayed when in navigation mode. The full-screen Google Maps on the car unit behaves the same way.
@Support Dasaita I'm sorry, I did not check before how Google Maps behave when used in a normal android smarphone.
