I have a Vivid 10 that is either very slow to start up or does not start up at all when it is cold outside. It has not been a problem all summer, but now that the weather is getting colder, it is an issue. When it warms up during the day, it starts up again.

What is the lowest temperature in your area? Can the unit be started after turning on the heater in the car?
It doesn't get that cold. Maybe -5 C is about the coldest it gets. Yes, after the car warms us and the heater is on, the unit will eventually start up.

In a low-temperature environment, the car battery discharge capacity will significantly decrease, and its internal resistance will increase as well. This may result in insufficient power supply for the head unit.
