Good morning, is there any option to change the DPI in the Zlink app? My radio version is QCM6125_20240903-1414 (I saw that there is a 20250311 version—should I update?), and my Zlink version is V5.4.58.
From what I found online, some versions allow changing the DPI in the Zlink app settings. It seems that the current DPI is set to 160, which, with a resolution of 1920x720, makes the interface too small. It would look better at DPI 240 or even around 320. When using CarPlay, everything looks fine.
@Ariii
Hello,
Thank you for your contact.
For the DPI, please take a picture of showing your android auto screen.
Please also take a picture of Settings>About machine> Build number
Hello, I took two photos comparing Apple CarPlay to Android Auto. On the Android image, I overlaid the visible range from CarPlay and also measured the default zoom level range: in CarPlay it's about 950 meters, while in Android Auto it's around 2100 meters. Of course, you can zoom in on the map, but street names and other labels still remain quite small.

@Ariii

1.Download the document through the link on your computer/laptop.
(Do not rename and Unzip the file)
2.Format the USB drive(FAT32 Format)before copying the hmcu.img file to it, then insert it to the USB cable,and it will pop out the firmware updating tips on the screen.
(Tick the option"Wipe data and format flash")
Good morning, I updated the radio with a data wipe, the Zlink app updated from version V5.4.58 to V5.4.99, but nothing changed at all, the DPI remained the same.
@Ariii

Good afternoon, It seems that I'm having the same issue where the current DPI is set to 160, which, with a resolution of 1920x720, makes the interface too small. It would look better at DPI 240 or even around 320. Can you help me with that please?

@Beep Beep
Thank you for sharing the details about the interface DPI issue you're experiencing.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, especially the difficulty in reading text while driving. We fully understand how important visibility and usability are for a positive experience.
Please be assured that we have already relayed your feedback (regarding the 160 DPI setting at 1920x720 resolution and the request for adjustable DPI options) to our engineering team. They will evaluate this for optimization in a future firmware update.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work on improving our product.
