I’m using a Dasaita G13 head unit in my 2022 Toyota 4Runner (non-JBL), and I’ve noticed that the on-screen climate control interface does not reflect the actual behavior of the vehicle’s HVAC system. Specifically:
• The displayed temperature and fan speed do not match the physical settings or cabin conditions.
• Adjustments made via the touchscreen appear to have no effect on airflow, temperature, or vent direction.
• Some displayed functions (e.g., seat heating, dual-zone controls) are irrelevant to my vehicle’s configuration.
• The physical HVAC controls still work, but the head unit’s overlay seems disconnected or inaccurate.
