HA2271 Steering wheel control is not working for Subaru Outback
To ensure the steering wheel buttons work properly on your Subaru Outback after installing the Dasaita head unit, please select the corresponding setting according to your model year:

2018–2020 Subaru Outback:
Go to
Control Settings > Steering Wheel Type and select
Type 2.

2015–2017 Subaru Outback:
Go to
Control Settings > Steering Wheel Type and select
Type 1.
I cannot find the menu as shown in the post. I have searched through every menu screen including all of the factory settings. I'm still unable to set the steering wheel controls in my 2016 outback
@Joseph Angelo Which harness do you using on your car?
If you are using the DYX004 harness,you will need to program the SWC:
Step 1. Please go Settings > Car > Factory settings (password：126) > Others > Steering wheel keys assign > SWC > Apply > Exit (Restart).
Step 2. Please go Settings > Car > Steering Wheel Keys > start to program OR just open the App "Wheelkey Study" to program. We also attached a video showing how to reprogram the SWC keys for your reference, please check it out.
