Dasaita Andriod 13 Head Init - Zlink / Android Auto Disconect Issue

  • Hello,

I recently purchased a Dasaita Android 13 head unit for my 2014 Toyota Tundra through Amazon.
The unit worked perfectly for approximately one week.
It now has the following issue:
Wireless Android Auto disconnects every 3 minutes almost exactly.
The head unit does not reboot. It exits Android Auto and returns to the Zlink application.
    Zlink then displays connection errors.
When pressing the CarPlay/Android Auto button, I receive the message: "Android Auto is in use, please disconnect Android Auto and reconnect again!" even though only one phone is connected.
I have already cleared Zlink data, repaired Bluetooth, and restarted both the phone and the head unit.

    Phone:
    Google Pixel 8 Pro
    Android Auto version: 17.2.662614
    Head Unit Information:
    Android 13
    Platform: QCM6125
    Build: QCM6125 13 S10A_123 (20250903)
    MCU: MTCHC_HA4Z_V4.16_1
Based on my troubleshooting, this appears to be a Zlink software or firmware issue, not a wiring or installation problem.
    Could you please provide:
The latest firmware for my exact model.
    The latest Zlink APK/update.
Any known fix for this issue.
I can also provide photos and a video showing the problem if needed.

    Thank you.

  • I am having the same issue all of a sudden. Only when streaming music through an app. Gps stays on

  • I'm also having the same issue. Started about a week ago and seems like it may have started when my phone received an update. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

  • Same issue, Galaxy S23 Ultra. Worked fine e for close to a month. Just in the past week it consistently disconnects and reconnecting via Zlink. Firmware and apps up to date and I've tried all the troubleshooting tips I've found in the forum to no avail.

  • Same problem with mine as well. Galaxy S24. Like Scott Swanson, it only happens when music is streaming. When I don't have any music playing it will not disconnect and the GPS would still work fine.

  • Same issue with my G13 and my Samsung S25. Disconnects and reconnects Android auto/Zlink every 3 minutes. Started doing this on July 11. Exactly a month after having connectivity issues with my mobile service on the unit...

    Update (7/15/26):

Android Auto new update seems to have fixed the issue.

  • I have the same problem. When my daughter connects her iPhone, there is no issue.🤷

  • @Scott Swanson android auto updated and it is fine now. Guess it was a problem with the app update. Thank you for responding.

    Hello.
    Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We noticed that recently many users have reported frequent Android Auto disconnection.
This is a global bug in Google’s official version 17.2.662404, not an issue with the head unit.

    Symptoms:
Randomly dropping out every few seconds to minutes, especially when playing music.

    Affected:
    All phone brands(Samsung, Pixel, etc.).

Quick Fix(roll back to stable 17.0):
    1. Open Google Play Store → Android Auto
    2. Leave the Beta program
    3. Tap ⋮ (top right) → Uninstall updates(reverts to 17.0)
    4. Disable Auto-update for Android Auto until Google patches it.
