Dasaita G13 for Toyota FJ Cruiser Zlink, Android Auto cycles through connection and disconnect.

  • I recently purchased a Dasaita Android 13 head unit for my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser through Amazon.

The unit worked perfectly for approximately one month

It now has the following issue:

Wireless Android Auto disconnects every 3-4 minutes almost exactly. It reconnects and repeats.

The head unit does not reboot. It exits Android Auto and returns to the Zlink application.

    Zlink then displays connection errors.

When pressing the CarPlay/Android Auto button, I receive the message: "Android Auto is in use, please disconnect Android Auto and reconnect again!" even though only one phone is connected.

I have already cleared Zlink data, repaired Bluetooth, and restarted both the phone and the head unit.

    Head Unit Information:

    Android 13

    Platform: QCM6125

    Build: QCM6125 13 S10A_123 (20250903) NA-V2.1

    MCU: MTCHS_HA4Z_V4.16f_1

Based on my troubleshooting, this appears to be a Zlink software or firmware issue, not a wiring or installation problem.

    Could you please provide:

The latest firmware for my exact model.

    The latest Zlink APK/update.

Any known fix for this issue.

I can also provide photos and a video showing the problem if needed.

    Hello.

We noticed that recently many users have reported frequent Android Auto disconnection.
This is a global bug in Google’s official version 17.2.662404, not an issue with the head unit.

    Symptoms:
Randomly dropping out every few seconds to minutes, especially when playing music.

    Affected:
    All phone brands(Samsung, Pixel, etc.).

Quick Fix(roll back to stable 17.0):
    1. Open Google Play Store → Android Auto
    2. Leave the Beta program
    3. Tap ⋮ (top right) → Uninstall updates(reverts to 17.0)
    4. Disable Auto-update for Android Auto until Google patches it.
