I have a max10 px6 with the latest firmware installed, HA3_rk3399_10.0_ota(20230803)
When I bought the unit about 2 years ago it was adverstised as 1280*720 display model. However I recently noticed when checking system information it shows the the model as PX6 1024*600
I found on a forum somewhere to use the password hcttest252 when entering factory settings to change it to 1280*720. The resolution changed under system information but now my display has gone bigger (zoom out) and I can't view the whole screen. I tried a factory reset but it did not change.
Thanks for the quick reply. Please find the pictures attached. My apologies for not being able to clearer pictures. The sticker on mine does not have that info.
The colour was fine but I took the chance to remove and reconnect power cable and now the colours are all blury.
@Support Dasaita My display also has the same problem. Thanks for the file, it worked. However, it is not permanent. The display becomes pixelated again everytime we start the car thus we have to repeat the process of restarting the display, key in factory setting and the USB has to be plugged in the USB port all the times.
Please find a pin, press and hold the RST button for 15 seconds to see if you can enter the factory setup page, if you can, select factory reset and reboot the unit;
NOTE: Make sure you press the RST button vertically and firmly, you should feel a slight press, or even hear a faint click. Please find the tutorial video below:
Hello, the exact thing happened to me and now I have an enlarged image on the screen, reinstalled firmware wiping data and also did a factory reset, still same problem... would you be so kind and send the file so I can fix the display? I have a picture of the stereo information before the change...
Hello. For further confirmation, please go Settings > Car > Factory settings(password: hcttest01), and provide us with a picture of the screen parameters which is at the bottom.
