Inaccessible Car Control Settings

  • @Support Dasaita Thank you. I sincerely appreciate the update and your team for looking into the matter.

  • I'm going through the same thing right now. I hope the team comes up with a solution.

  • @Tony T Hello again. Yeah that's why I made this post so the Dasaita team takes our concerns seriously, which made me glad when they said they're actually looking into the matter. I searched around the forum topics and the inaccessible Car settings app seems to be a recurrent theme for some time now. Hopefully there's a solution to be found, just for the peace of mind in accessing vehicle settings while using of an aftermarket head unit when the need arises.

  • @Support Dasaita (reply from the 2016 Honda Accord post) Hello. My car is a 2013 Honda Accord Ex-L 2.4L, so not exactly the same.

Here is what showed when I input the logcan into factory settings and here's a link to the recorded video.

  • @B C Hi, could you send the logcan file to the email: support@dasaita.com

  • @Support Dasaita oh yes, I forgot to do that this morning. I'll try to retrieve it and send it to you as soon as I can.

  • @B C You could go to the Filebrowser and copy to us.

  • @Support Dasaita sent to your support email.

  • @Support Dasaita I sent additional log files and a video inputting unresponsive touches to the Car Control settings app while the logcan was active, as I realize the original video I sent did not display these actions. Sent to the support email.

  • @Support Dasaita Hello again. Do you have an ETA on when the manufacturers will get back to us on troubleshooting the vehicle control issue? And if so, is there anything else that's needed to address this issue?

Have they had a chance to view the logs and videos we've made?

  • @B C @Justin S @Tony T We are wondering if you could install the canbus apk. Please download the file and then go to APK installer to get it installed and then check if the control settings could work or not.

  • @Support Dasaita I just got done testing it out, and most of the control settings now work. However, there are still some functions that are unresponsive to the value change such as Door Unlock Mode and Keyless access light flash.

  • @Support Dasaita Amazing! Thank you for the follow up on this issue. I'll try and test out the app as well and give feedback on the settings.

  • @Support Dasaita so I had a moment to update the canbus apk.

I noticed that yes, a good majority of the settings can now be changed, but it's slow to respond when selecting an input and the settings aren't retained after closing the app, so I can't gauge if it's actually changing anything with the system.

Like @Tony T mentioned, the settings can be selected, but there are still a few that don't work for now.

Again, thank you for taking the time to look into this issue and taking our feedback.

  • @B C @Tony T Our engineer said that they have retained all the OEM features, we are wondering if the settings that could not work are not OEM settings. Your prompt reply will be appreciated.

  • @Support Dasaita The settings I have mentioned, such as "Door Unlock Mode and Keyless Access Light Flash" are OEM settings since my trim is equipped with keyless entry from factory.

Also. like B C said earlier. Some settings aren't saving upon shutting vehicle off. I would have to go to settings and change those values everytime I start up the car. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • @Tony T We are wondering if you could kindly demonstrate which settings that could not be saved. Please send us screenshot or video to show that.

  • @Support Dasaita

I am having this same exact problem since oct 2022 and has not found the solution. I'd like to try this Cabus app but APKInstaller keeps giving error "There was a problem parsing the package".

I redownloaded from the PX6 headunit and from USB, both failed.

My PX6 is Vivid/Scout 10, not sure if this makes any different.

  • @Phut Ba We are wondering if you could send us your order number so that we could check if the APK is compatible with your car. Please let us know if you had the problem sinced you installed the head unit. Your prompt reply will be appreciated.

  • @Support Dasaita

This was purchased from Amazon and yes i have these same problem from the get go.

I've reached out to the supporting team via Amazon from the day it was installed but it was not fixed after doing all the tasks.
