I've been getting an issue with the sound cutting out and/or scratchy quality in my front passenger channel and now in both front channels. It has continually gotten worse. It appears to be different than the BT connectrion issue people mention on the forum because my isssue persist when using the FM radio. My current setup connects to my iPhone hotspot for service. I've replaced the front speakers when the issue first came up. I thought the speaker may have parially blown. The new speakers didn't fix the issue. I've swapped the speakers (passenger to drivers side and drivers to passengers side) last week and the issue didn't follow. The cutting out stayed in the same front passenger channel. Other than that the unit is working as expected. I'm starting to think the issue may be due to overheating? We're approaching summer and I feel the issue has increased in severity with the temps. I've already updated the firmware per Dasaita and the issue didn't correct. I will note that the unit had a broken mount point when it was recieved and possibly was a returned item. Please help this get resolved.
