Any updates for Dasaita Model QCM6125?

  • Bought unit June 20th for 2014 Toyota Tundra.   installed fine however been trying to update system in hopes it resolves a few issues since July 20th 2025 and cant get any response from team@dasaita.com so hoping maybe can get directed what updates I can do thru the forum.

trying to resolve a screen bright /dim issue where you have to manually dim or brighten the screen as the auto function does not work.  Also volume control for built in Nav is so low you can't hear it.  Since then have occassional issue with backup camera is just a black screen until you restart the system.   Also sometimes none of the buttons under the screen work and it appears frozen.  Once you are in a where you can stop and turn off the vehicle and wait a bit and turn it back on it seems to resolve but am hoping there is an update that will resolve some or most of these issues.

  • So I did as instructed above and it worked as indicated.  The problem is now the issue is worse than what was dealing with originally.   The build in Nav program does not work at all.   The Google Maps shows offline even with phone connected for internet.   If listening to the build in Radio and using a nav system thru carplay there is no ability to hear you just have to monitor the map on the screen to determine where to turn.   If you listen to Spotify thru Carplay you have the Carplay Nav audio you can hear, however the map doesn't display at all so you have to completely rely on the turn by turn directions with no ability to see where you need to turn in advance.   The auto dim feature still does not function at all for the screen to dim.   So far the back up camera has worked but that was an intermittent problem so don't know if it is resolved or not.   Any assistance to help resolve this so we can use it for something other than a radio would be greatly appreciated.  Even going back to original issues was better than what we have now.
