Hello.
May I know the carrier of your SIM Card? Is it T-Mobile?
Our engineering team is working on a permanent solution for this T-Mobile SIM Card network incompatibility issue.
Below is a reliable temporary workaround shared by other users, you may check the complete tutorial here:

If you happen to have the AT&T SIM card on hand, please give it a shot.
About WiFi issue, here are some trouble-shootings steps for you:
1.
Please confirm if the Bluetooth name(CAR-KIT) and PIN number(0000) are displayed on the unit:
Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth > Device Name; PIN Number.
2.
Please check if the WiFi antenna has been screwed well.
3.
Please note that Zlink(Wireless Carplay/Android Auto) overrides WiFi.
WiFi cannot be connected successfully when you’re using Zlink, cuz the network access has been occupied by Zlink.
Please firstly confirm you've disconnect Zlink correctly before connecting WiFi.
And please disable auto connect Zlink function if needed:
CarPlay/Android Auto App > Settings > Background Connection > Off.
4.
Reset WiFi:
Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset WiFi, Mobile&Bluetooth.
5.
If possible, please use other phones to test how it works.
