Earlier this year while in the US I ordered the following for our Nissan X-Trail 2017 from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082XGHJPZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is advertises and listed as a PX6 with CarPlay. I had it installed here and for the past couple months have been trying to get CarPlay to work without success.
I even updated the firmware, and found that it is listed as the rk3566 model, which appears to be a PX4 model!! And then I saw this on a xda-dev forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/dasaita-latest-mcu-and-updates-for-rockchip-cpu-platform-stereos.3575155/post-86965061 which says the PX4 is incapable of CarPlay.
Can someone from Dasaita tell me for sure whether this PX4 model that was sent to me instead of a PX6 is capable of CarPlay? (I get the old MFi error in Zlink whenever I try to run it).
This is what it was marked out of the box: Max10-CP-HD I take to mean CP for CarPlay!!!!
