Problems with the AC on Dasaita PX6 for Peugeot 407 Coupé


  • Good morning,

    I mounted a Daisata PX6 car radio (see attached photos) for Peugeot 407
    (407 coupe 2.2 e 163hp Sport Pack from 2006 with JBL amplifier)
    which I mounted on a Daisata PX6 car radio (see attached photos).

    The version is MTCH_MX_V3.84_1 from jan 14 2022, on Android 10.

    The original Canbus sold with the car radio caused me to lose the front and rear radar functions. After installing a Canbus Hiworld, I cannot correctly adjust the dual-zone air conditioning,
    and the AC is always on without the possibility of turning it off.
    The Canbus does not manage the dual-zone function, and does not find the possibilities
    of activating the fans up or down, right and left, as well as defrosting the front windshield.

    I am very disappointed with your equipment, which is supposedly plug and play, but ultimately
    there is always a bug, and the resellers clearly don't care and don't know the product.
    In the factory settings, I can choose Hiworld, then “59PSA”, and then the model of my car “Peugeot 407”
    is not available for selection. Which model should I choose to find all the features of my car (see list below)? Thanking you in advance for your help.

  • Before purchasing you MUST check which original (stock) options of the car are availbale or not. Depending on the canbus some options are available and other not. 

    Not ALL stock options are available for all the car models. Even for same car brands but different models (even for the same model but different versions) available options form the canbus could be different.

    Check which working features were specificly listed for your brand/model/version during your purchase information.

    You can claim for those listed that not works, but not for those you expected to work and they don't.


  • After calling Hiworld customer service, it turns out that they no longer update for the Peugeot 407,
    thus rendering the canbus inoperative. So I'm going to put the original canbus back,
    knowing that I will lose the parking sensors.

    If possible, please provide us with your valid order number.
    So that we can locate the model your purchased and check whether the corresponding CanBus can support parking sensors function.
    Besides, please send the front&back side clear photo of your original radio to us.

    Thanks for helping me, i appreciate.

    Like you would, i send you the picture of the original radio, to have the right canbus reference.

    I send you the both canbus which doesn't work:

    -the red one (a simple soft) = i don't have the sensor parking assistance front and back (parking radar)

    -the black one (a hiworld) = i lose the management of the dual zone AC, and it seem not fit for 407 according to the hiworld after sales service, but the parking radar work correctly.

    -and the build numbers of the headunit PX6, to have the right upload and update, of Zlink, and the good MTCH files.

  • @Nicolas G I read on a forum that if you set the HiWorld PA12.20 as "Peugeot 308" both Parking sensor sounds and Climate Control Works as expected. Could you try it?

    Thanks for getting back to us.
    About the CanBus of simple soft, we suggest that you can try to do as follows:
    1、
    Please confirm the CanBus Option&Type:
    Settings > Car > Factory settings(password :126) > CanBus > Canbus > NO.61;
    Type > "9 407/2005" > Apply > Exit > Reboot.
    2、
    Please go App “Control settings” > control settings > Disable reversing radar,
    then test which one can work if you enable/disable it.

    I couldn't answer you that I'm fixing a Zlink problem (see link), for which Daisata support recommended an update.
     
    As a result, I have nothing left... and the system which was giving to me seem illegal!
    The factory reset let the car radio on the last update system
     
    I'm starting to get fed up with it (at 400 the car radio, it's crazy that it doesn't work and that it's full of bugs) Do you have a solution on your side?

    Dasaita support made me do a wrong update, and i'll have lot of error on my screen. on this page

    I success to delete them and go to the recovery mode to set up the original version of the MTCE_MX with an mx4_rk3399_10.0_ota(20210413) system.

    But when i put the hiworld canbus, i can't select a car, but just the line 59Hiworld PSA, and i have nothing else on the screen. Should I try a HCT rom? Because the HA was given by Dasaiata support was done lot of damages (cf link)

    Any idea?

    I tried the parking display on and off but nothing happens

    I guess my versionofsimplee soft was bad. Could you send me, the good reference of canbus for my car on the PX6.

    I confirm that the simple soft (the red one) canbus is in the right position:

    CanBus > Canbus > NO.61; Type > "9 407/2005" > Apply > Exit > Reboot.

    But when i put the hiworld canbus (the black one, (cf photos above), i can't select a car, but just the line 59Hiworld PSA, and i have nothing else on the screen. Should I try a HCT rom? Because the HA was given by Dasaiata support was done lot of damages. I don,'t understand because before the wrong update you give me, i could change that position, and select a car.

    Hello.
    For your information, it is most likely caused by incompatibility of other brand CanBus rather than by an update.
    Regarding toHiworld CanBus, we suggest that you consult with the supplier accordingly.
    As we mentioned in another post, your purchased version already has stopped production, it won't release any new update file anymore.
    For this reason, we do not recommend that you do the update again so as to avoid any potential risks.

    I'm really disapointed, the car readio have 3 years and it's alreday dead and no updated!

    According to the build number of my head unit, please indicate me what's the right MCU and system to find an operative system since you make me updating a bad version i have many problems to your fault. It's time to assume yours mistake! and help me to recover a right functionnal system!

    We provided the update file to you with a good intentions initially.
    Please note that any update operations involves the potential risks.
    When people who has asked for update file it has been provided if we have it, but at their own risk. 
    If something happened, we are not responsible for the failed update. 
    Besides, your unit has been used at least 3 years.
    The common issues such as aging of electronic components/system lagging after long-term use are are inevitable.
    This is also the reason why the new system products must be developed continuously.
    We totally understand your situation and would like to help you.
    However, since the version that you purchased already has stopped production, there are no more details about update file can be found.
