Ive seen some threats about this same issue but ive tried everything. I made sure the is ON. Also tried putting it at 5. Tried turning it OFF... nothing works. The sound is still muted. In a different threat, it seems like the MCU needed to be updated. Can anyone help me with this?

Tips:
1.
Download above update file via your computer/laptop.
2.
Format USB drive to FAT32 Format.
3.
Copy the file “update.zip” to the root directory of USB drive.
4.
Insert USB drive into the unit via USB cable;
then it will pop up automatically a window of update.
Alternatively, please manually go "Settings > System > System updates" to start the update.
***NOTE:
Please make sure that you have ticked option "Wipe data and format flash!".

No. It seems like it uses a harness from my understanding. It may be this one but its been so long and never used it, I can't really remember.
I have also seen this one which looks the same but has the mic ur showing me. I already have the moc though so I only need the harness that plugs into the head unit

For your your information, this kind of external mic with 3.5mm adapter is for Dasaita Android 12/13 units only.
Based on your version information, your unit is Android 11, it doesn't to use this external mic.
The unit does not have a 3.5 mm jack. On the diagram above, the F slot says usb/mic. The F slot does not have a 3.5 mm jack
I highlighted where the diagram says there should be a harness and also took a picture of the entire back of the system and I dont see a 3.5 mm jack

According to your pictures, it needs to connect the external mic via Dual USB cable.
Please refer to attached picture.
In order to help you check the stock, please tell us if you want to purchase external mic only, or both external mic and Dual USB cable.
I just need the Dual USB/mic cable please.
