Unit sees sim card is Verizon , sees phone number but won't connect to network,says emergency calls only,
network did linkonce for about 20-30 seconds on a "factory setting restart" then went out ...performed a factory reset on unit and I'm waiting for response to this issue

Please refer to below link and try to create a new APN and select it for use.

So on a 4 hour ride ,I checked about 2 hours in and it was working ,it worked for 3 hours ,once truck is cut off it doesn't reconnect..is there a solution for this

Hello.
We are wondering if the SIM card can connect network and use normally after selecting the correct APN name.
However, once you turn off truck, then SIM card cannot connect network anymore.
Could you please try to remove and reinsert the SIM card then use a Pin/Paperclip to press and hold the RST Button for 15 seconds to do the factory reset to see how it goes?
30 minute ride it didn't activate,around an hour ride it actives and works fine ,unit will stay activated for a few minutes after shutdown and restart but any longer then a few minutes when the vehicle is restarted it once again won't activate

Tips:
1.
Download above update file via your computer/laptop.
2.
Format USB drive to FAT32 Format.
3.
Copy the file “update.zip”&“hmcu.img” to the root directory of USB drive.
4.
Insert USB drive into the unit via USB cable;
then it will pop up automatically a window of update.
Alternatively, please manually go "Settings > System > System updates/MCU updates" to start the update.
***NOTE:
Please make sure that you have ticked option "Wipe data and format flash!".
