I recently factory reset my head unit to try and fix the Bluetooth connectivity problem I was having and now I get the "Inactivated, click to activate" error in the Zlink app. I click to connect to my Wi-Fi and then it fails to connect to any Wi-Fi I try to connect to. I've ensured the headunits Wi-Fi is turned on and that airplane mode is off. I've ensured on my router and it's allowed to connect.

Can't connect to internet to update firmware

It sounds like your head unit may have lost essential system configurations or drivers during the factory reset. Since you're seeing the "Inactivated, click to activate" message in the Zlink app and Wi-Fi won't connect even though it's enabled and not in airplane mode, it's likely that either the Wi-Fi firmware or the Zlink app itself is not properly reinitialized. To fix this, try the following: (1) Go to the system settings and check if there's an option to reset or re-enable the "Zlink" or "CarPlay/Android Auto" functionality. (2) Reinstall or update the Zlink app if possible. (3) If that doesn’t work, you may need to manually reflash or update the firmware/software of the head unit using a USB drive with the correct firmware from the manufacturer's website. Be sure to verify the exact model number of your unit before flashing anything. nulls clash
