Please try to do as follows.
Adjust default navigation app
Open the Android Auto app on your phone or go to your phone's Settings.
Find and tap on "Default navigation app" (or look for "Navigation" or "Maps" settings).
Select a different navigation app from the list to use as your default.
Disable auto-launch for a specific app
Connect your phone to your car to start Android Auto.
On the car's screen, locate the Google Maps app and press and hold it.
Your phone will show the app's settings page.
Look for an option to prevent the app from automatically launching (you may need to find a setting related to "auto-launch" or "navigation") and disable it.
Disable the automatic start of Android Auto
Open the Android Auto app on your phone or head unit.
Go to the Settings menu.
Look for an option like "Start Android Auto automatically" or something similar and disable it.
