Following the release of the new iOS 26 update for CarPlay, here is the latest method to connect wireless CarPlay.
1.Bluetooth & Wi-Fi: Both must be enabled. Even if wireless, CarPlay often uses Bluetooth for initial pairing and Wi-Fi for data transmission.
2.Personal Hotspot: Turn off your phone’s hotspot, as it can conflict with the car's network.
3.Siri: Must be turned on (Settings > Siri & Search) for CarPlay to function.
4.Content & Privacy Restrictions: Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps and ensure CarPlay is not turned off.
5.Airplane Mode: Must be turned off.
6.Forget Device:
1)On phone: Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, select your car kit and choose "Forget this device" then re-pair
2)On Stereo:Go to Settings>System >Factory Reset>Reset WiFi&Bluetooth connections
