I recently installed a Dasaita head unit on my 2020 Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid (Weather Package). Overall, I really like the unit, but I’m running into a few issues and wanted to see if anyone here has experienced the same or found fixes:
No parking sensor beep
When reversing, I don’t hear any alert sound when objects are detected. This was working on the stock unit.
→ Is this supported through CANBUS, or is there something I need to enable?
Reverse camera delay (~5–6 seconds)
The camera takes a few seconds to show after shifting into reverse, which feels too slow.
Camera glitching / interference
Sometimes the backup camera flickers or shows signal noise (kind of like old TV static).

Has anyone with a similar RAV4 setup fixed these issues?
Would really appreciate any tips (CANBUS settings, wiring, AHD vs CVBS, firmware, etc.).
