Very low mic volume

  Hello, I have the G13 (11.6") unit running Android 13 that I just installed in my 2019 Toyota Tacoma with the external mic that came with the device. The microphone audio level is extremely low. I even tried using another brand external mic, the enfig (universal) mic, and installed it in the overhead console. Audio levels remain almost unusable.
  
  Is there a setting I need to adjust? I've already set the mic level to its highest setting (+12).

  Is it possible to disable the internal mic, in case that is interfering with the external mic?

  Hey KWC, I've heard of opening of the radio and soldering the internal mic off, but I wouldn't suggest it. The only thing that I can think of is to update the MCU, if you haven't done that yet.
