So on a 4 hour ride ,I checked about 2 hours in and it was working ,it worked for 3 hours ,once truck is cut off it doesn't reconnect..is there a solution for this

Yes, as J Torman said, the setting helps somewhat, but then I have to reset it for the other car. It seems like a bit of a hack. Anything else that can be done?
