@Tom Box Interesting...this might be my issue.  The back chassis picture in the manual does have the GPS shown in the right side above the AM/FM antennae port.  I will pull the unit out ...

@Olufemi Savage The last picture explains it all. Someone at Dasaita swapped sides between GPS and Wifi. For more than 5 years Wifi has been on left and GPS on the right. Now they are the other way...

I upgraded to the lastest software this morning.   Still no GPS.  I drove around for 25 minutes with the antenna on the roof and still no signal in the GPS Monitor tool.
