Hi,
I’m having an issue with mobile data on my new Dasaita head unit.
- I’ve installed a T-Mobile SIM
- The unit recognizes the SIM
- I’m able to make and receive calls
- Mobile data is enabled
- APN settings are correct (fast.t-mobile.com)
- I’ve even reinstalled my previous unit using the same SIM and cables, and data works fine on that older unit
This is my second Dasaita unit. The first one had other issues (unrelated to the SIM), but data worked perfectly. With this new unit, I can’t get any internet access even though everything else appears to be working.
I’m open to any suggestions at this point, but if I can’t get this resolved soon, I’ll be returning it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
I've also updated to the latest firmware (20250401 Release) and am still having the same issue.

I am going through the same ordeal. Nothing has worked for me. Need help as this is very frustrating and nothing that has been suggested to me is working
So day 2 after the install and when I look at the usage, it now says that 4.10MB out of the allotted 2.0GB have been used. The T-Mobile account that the SIM card is on also says that the SIM card is connected to an Android unit (assuming that's the G13).
@David Rice Just would like to confrim can the 4G sim card work with head unit ?
I tried leaving a message two times over the past 5 days on this forum but i see that it has never been "apporved" so it was never posted. yes... the head unit recognizes the card so im assuming "it works". however i cannot use the sim card for internet access no matter what i have tried based on everyones suggestions on this and other forums.
Hello. I am also encountering an issue with 4G data not working. The SIM card is recognized. It does show that I have data when I am connected to wifi. However, as soon as I disconnect from wifi, the 4G data would show "No connection".
This issue started happening about 3 days ago. Prior to this, I did have 4G connectivity and was working properly.
@Performance Engineer
Hello,
1.Find a pin, press and hold the RST button for 15 seconds to see if you can enter the factory setup page, if you can, select reboot the unit
2.Please check if the SIM CARD has been connected properly. Make sure it hasn't loose.
3.Please insert the SIM CARD to the other device to check if it is working well.
Thanks for your time!
