I purchased a G13 several months ago and installed it in my 2018 Tundra. Have been very pleased with it overall and am still familiarizing myself with it's features and capabilities.
On that note, I've ventured forth and purchased a data-only sim card from SpeedTalk Mobile which was delivered to me Saturday. I activated it and installed it in the Sim tray for my G13. I waited 24 hrs to make sure that SpeedTalk was able to do their magic to activate it. I even called SpeedTalk Tech support today to make sure that it's fully configured on their end. They tell me it is.
My Dasaita G13 HU doesn't see the installed Sim. I have removed and reinserted said SIM card multiple times. It remains unrecognized my the HU. Pertinent information regarding my HU follows.

SIM Status Shows "NOT AVAILABLE."
When I provided my IMEI number to SpeedTalk Mobile the technician assured me that my device was compatible.
It's been 2 days since I posted my issue with my G13's inability to sense my new SpeedTalk Mobile SIM card. There has been no response from Dasaita support. I welcome some help with this problem.
A kindly acknowledgment, at least.
It could be an issue with it being a "data only" SIM. Have you tried one that also supports voice, even if you don't intend to use the phone part?
@Kenneth Ward
Hello,
Thank you for your contact and sorry for the late reply .
Due to the fact that I couldn't log in to the forum to check the information for the past couple of days.
Could you also take a picture of showing the SIM Card status on the head unit ?
Please try to change the LET: Settings> Network&Internet> Mobile Network>Preferred Network Type>LTE.

Our unit also supports AT&T ,T-mobile and Verzion ,do you have the SIM Card to try?
Well, that was weird.
I read your response and trouble-shooting tips one evening earlier this week.
The next day I went out to the truck to try them, and the SIM card was registered and linked to the T-MOBILE network. I had network data connectivity, and I hadn't done anything to the HU.
I'm impressed with your remoted Technical Support Skills!! And, of course, will expect this superlative level of support for any of my future issues. (That was a joke, BTW.)
Thank you for responding.
