Vivid and Scout versions of the Firmware, just includes their latest version of the launcher into the latest HCT ROM.
HCT is the first ROM version and Telenav (VIVID/Scout developers) tune the ROM for a better integration of their launchers:
in the Case of the Scout system, up to the date, Scout updates only could be addressed by means of ROM update, but from 3.1.5 onwards, the direct OTA updates are available, as well as for the Vivid Systems.
Unfortunately, online OTA updates just upgrades the Launcher and related stuff.
In case some bugs were found on the base ROM, these will be heritaged to the Vivid/Scout roms as well and it is not expected these bugs will be solved with a live OTA update. The same occurs when users wanted to upgrade the version of the Zlink Software (for CarPlay/Android Auto)
In the early times for first MTCB/MTCD units, HCT provided changelog for their Roms....but since several years they are not provided anymore.
but in case you want changelog for the launcher (Vivid or Scout), they are available:
For Scout, changelog is available on the OTA update page of the unit.
