yes yes, even though it's black you touch and you hear beeps from the app and you also see a clear black, the strange thing is that by resetting Recovery doesn't start, but well I can't do anything.

@Al Ferro if you press over the sync button (the third button on the right column of buttons) your phone will ask for permission....then the unit can access the phones contacts

Put the unit in recovery mode and update firmware from usb.
