Front and reverse camera not working Toyota RAV4 (2019 gen 5) with Dasaita Android13 Car Stereo

  • Hi evereryone,
After switching off the power I removed the original radio next, I carefully connected the Dasaita Android13 Car Stereo. Everything seems to work, except the cameras; when parking both the rearview and frontview camera's don't show any image. I get a black screen with only the guidelines.
I also had a look in the special factory settings menu. Canbus was set to 08 for Toyota. In the Other menu I couldn't find/check the setting called " ... prohibit ... " with the exact name.
Any tips what to check or do differently to activate my cameras? Am I missing any special settings?

One more question; My Toyota also has a orginal factory installed 360 camera. I saw the input socket on the Dasaita unit. However I don't know which cable from the car can connect to this socket. is there a connector in the car that fits directly to the socket on the Dasaita radio?
    Thanks for helping!!

    Hello.

Please firstly check "C" has connected to either wiring "C1" or wiring "C2".
If C with C1 cannot work for camera, please switch to connect C with C2 to see how it goes.

    Besides, please confirm the setting:
    Settings > Car > Factory setting (password :126) > Other > Reverse Detection > Enable > Apply > Exit > Reboot.

In order to help you better, please provide the following information:
    Order Number & Purchase Date.

    Hello, thanks for your response!
    My:

    • Order number: SP-DA7959
    • Purchase date: Aug 6, 2025

I already went to the car and I checked:

    • Wire C is connected to wire C1
    • And the setting Reverse Detection is Enabled
    • Cam In <> Cam Vin/ Camera: Yes, the yello cinch connectors are connected,
    • also all other cables supplied with the unit are connected together as shown in the installation posters for RAV4 2019+

I changed wire C; I connected it to wire C2.  Unfortutely, it did not solve my problem.  I put C back to C1 - orginal position.

I also checked the CANBUS setting; it is on 08 for Toyota.

I tried changing to other CANBUS settings for Toyota Rav4; It does not help. So, I changed it back to the original setting no. 08. The android system rebooted a few times after changing CANBUS settings. The last android reboot was for CANBUS setting 08 / Toyota.
