I have 3 different headunits each running a different Firmware, MCU, and Zlink versions. Ever since getting an iPhone 17 Pro Max with iOS 26 (currently iOS 26.2), two of the three units keep crashing (Android 9 and 11) Zlink/Carplay within minutes, but stay connected to Bluetooth.
The Android 10 unit seems to work reliably. All three worked great with my iPhone 13 Pro and 15 Pro Max. I tried updating the firmware on one of the two crashing units, but it's still reacting same. I heard Apple is running an iAP2 handshake which could be causing the issues with Zlink. Here are the details of my setups (only unit 3 is working):
I heard Apple is not fixing the issue and vendors need to provide patches. Hopefully this information helps you with the necessary updates/fixes.

Dear @Chris C. ,
We would like to tell you that Android 9 does not support the IOS 26.2 so it may crash when you use the Iphone 17 to connect it.
As to the Android 11, we would like to tell you that firmware which is released on April 1st could fix the problem. You said that you have updated the firmware, could you please go to Settings > About Machine and send us your current Build Number of the Android 11 unit so that we could better confirm? We want to check if the 20250401 is updated successfully or not.
Thank you for your cooperation.
The only thing crashing on Android 9 is Zlink/CarPlay. Below is a picture of the Android 11 with the updated firmware. It definitely installed because the screens and apps changed significantly.

@Chris C. Please shot a video to show us the zlink connecting process of Android 11, we will forwarded to the engineer for help. For the Android 9, we just regret to tell you that it does not support.

@Support Dasaita I'm currently on android 11 max. I tried your latest vivid and that didn't work either. I think yall have an issue with the new N1 chips on the iPhone 17s.
